Halloween

I have to admit Matt and I failed a bit this year with pictures. These two kids were going in opposite directions most of the time and we didn't get a great picture of them together or really a good one of Mackenzie at all without a coat on! Mackenzie carved a pumpkin, yes, ALL by herself. Although I didn't get a final picture...FAIL! Our neighborhood was great to trick or treat in and Mackenzie literally ran all the way around the neighborhood from house to house.
As you all know I am not great at updating my blog, it is so time consuming! But, Matt and I are constantly texting pics of the kids around to family and friends. If you'd like for us to add you on to that list of people to send pics to please let me know. I never know who has a text plan on their phones. Thanks!

And a few more...

Thanks to everyone who sent our little guy gifts. He has been busy with cars, new power tools, basketball, fire trucks and this new HUGE bear!

He had to eat every bite of his cake with a fork. Such a big boy!

Our Birthday gathering was very casual when we got back from a long day in the mountains. So casual we forgot he had on his sister's ballerina bib! Oops!!

Birthday Pics Cont.

Ethan's Birthday Pics

We headed to the mountains Saturday for my sweet boy's Birthday. His Nana and Grandad joined us on our Great Smoky Mountain Railway adventure. It was COLD in the morning when we got up that way, even hitting a little bit of snow fall on the drive there. It made wearing Halloween costumes a little tricky. I think the kids had a blast and by the end of the day Matt and I were asleep before our heads hit the pillow!!

Pumpkin Patch Field Trip

Mackenzie and I went to her yearly pumpkin patch field trip last week. I drove her there, the kids whose parents couldn't go got to ride the bus. Needless to say she would have prefered I stay home so she could be on the bus. She also didn't want to sit with me on the wagon ride, instead wanting to sit with her girl friends. Oh my...times they are a changin! (boo hoo sob)
