Big Kid Carseat

When I took Ethan for his 6 month Doctor's visit our pediatrician told me it was time to take Ethan out of the infant car seat because he was getting so big. I couldn't believe it! He's too little to go in a big carseat, not to mention now I can't use my snap-n-go stroller anymore which I love! Anyway, we finally switched his carseat around today and he's in the big kid seat. He kind of looks like his Sister in this pic doesn't he???

Dance Recital

Mackenzie had her first dance recital last Saturday. She LOVES being on stage. It was so funny to see all the little girls trying to remember their dance and where they were supposed to be. The big show was at Furman University. We couldn't believe they had such a huge auditorium for the show but her dance studio is pretty big so they actually had 2 big shows on Saturday.

Dance Trophy Ceremony

Mackenzie had her last dance class today. She and her friends got their trophies and had a party. She loves her trophy but wants to make sure it doesn't get broken because it's "special".

Play Time

These two love to be in Ethan's crib together. It gives me a few minutes where I know what they are both doing so I can fold some laundry!

Cutie Pie

This little guy's favorite thing right now is to sit in his bumbo seat next to a box of toys and take his time looking at and eating each one. He is such a little sweetie, he is so good natured and always has a smile for you. He is sitting up really well by himself these days and if he's laying on the floor he's trying to get his knee up underneath him. Give him a few months and he's going to be crawling everywhere!

School's Out for Summer!

I am so sad that school is out for summer. Trying to figure out how to keep Mackenzie busy all summer and make sure that Ethan gets his naps is going to be a challenge! I can't believe in the Fall she'll be going to school 3 days a week. I got this pic of her on her last day. They had a party for her last day and she had a blast. She also got to do a special school performance to mark the end of K2. My girl is getting so big!

Addison Lee

This post is LONG overdue! Welcome to the world Addison Lee! She is my new neice and she is the sweetest thing! She was born on April 30th at 12:39 a.m., she was a tiny little baby at 6 lbs. I am going to make sure I get more pictures of her soon, she is so precious. She is still so little and has the most kissable lips. I just want to snuggle her all the time!

Mother's Day Brunch

Today I went to the sweetest Mother's Day brunch at Mackenzie's school. When I got there they had each Mother's place at the table marked with a picture of our children holding a Mother's Day sign. Then we had a wonderful brunch and got a special performance from the kids. It was such a great morning, it was a little tricky however trying to take pictures or video with squirmy little Ethan in my lap!
