Booboo

My poor little guy had his first major booboo! He was trying to stand up next to a toy and fell and slammed his head into it. It's hard to tell by looking at it how bad it was at the time. I panicked because it started gushing blood right away and I was really afraid he might need a stitch. My Mom came on over to look at it after I called her in a panic. When all was said and done I think I cried more than he did!!
Mackenzie was 17 months old before she had her first big booboo!! I've always heard boys play rough, so I can't help but wonder...is my boy going to have way more booboo's than my little girl???

The 4th of July Weekend

We had a really great, relaxing 4th of July weekend. I was so relaxed in fact that I didn't take hardly any pictures!! Here are just a few that we managed to take. (P.S. I finally have a pic of Mackenzie to post, she hasn't wanted her picture taken lately).

He can crawl, sit up by himself, drink out of a bottle and stand in his crib (all of this happened within 2 days)! Can you tell how proud of himself he is??

Busy Summer

It's been a busy summer so far! We've had lots of swim lessons (which didn't go so well) and lots of really fun play dates, a couple of trips to the zoo and lots more! I'm trying to enjoy our lack of a schedule and also keep things interesting so Mackenzie isn't totally bored. Here are a few recent pics of the kiddos, they are getting big so fast!

Ethan is in the process of trying to figure out bottles. He's not too sure about it, we'll see how it goes! Matt also had to do a spur of the moment crib mattress drop because we caught Ethan pulling up on the crib rail. He's changing so fast!

These two sweeties love each other so much! They are starting to play together a lot more, although I have to keep convincing Mackenzie playing Doctor on her brother is NOT a good idea!
Little Addison isn't so little anymore! She's growing like a weed too!
