Race for the Cure

This past Saturday we headed out EARLY to do the Race for the Cure. I was really looking forward to it, we hadn't participated since I lived in Charlotte. We had a great time, Mackenzie hung out in the stroller and at the end she held my hand and we ran to the finish line together. Major props to Matt for pushing the stroller (with 40 lb kid) for almost the whole time! I've been running a lot to get ready for this and it was so worth it! We'll definitely be there next year...maybe with a double jog stroller and little guy in tow too. (Ignore my red face, this is my embrace the camera moment...thanks Holly!).

Tupperware

Anyone who really knows me knows that my tupperware cabinet is a MESS. It's one of those things where if you need tupperware you reach in and grab it shutting the cabinet door as quickly as possible to avoid EVERYTHING from falling out. So it was a no brainer that things couldn't get any worse...so I let him have at it.....

It's the little things that make them SO happy!

10 months for one more week...

My little man is going to be 11 months old in one short week! I just can't believe how time has flown by. He has got the sweetest disposition and is rarely cranky. He took 2 steps the other day, points at things he wants, is pretty much done with baby food, bangs on the playroom door for Mackenzie to let him in and is always ready with a laugh. He says Mama, Dada and Nana although Mama is what we hear the most. He is just the sweetest!

Sharing

They share toys most of the time (even though we have had epic battles over the etch-a-sketch)...

and now they have discovered that they can share snacks...hmmm, how many times am I going to have to referee snacks and drinks now....

He NEVER Stops

He is into everything, everywhere, ALL the time! I actually found him climbing up my stove this week. We are on a constant mission to baby proof our house but it is NEVER enough!!

Falls Park

The other night we made a last minute decision to pick up dinner, throw down a blanket and enjoy a beautiful night eating by the waterfalls at Falls Park. These little cuties loved our picnic!

And....We're Back!

Back to blogging, back to school, back to ballet....things have been hectic lately while we've been figuring out our new routine for the Fall. I am lucky to get any pictures of Mackenzie lately but I always try to capture the big moments. Here's a few recent pics...

1st Day back at Ballet school, she loves it as long as she knows that I am NOT leaving the building!

1st day of 3 year old preschool. She's going 3 days a week and loves it. She is so excited for her first field trip next week. I'll be sure to post pics of that special day!
