Falls Park

Matt got back in town late last night. He's been in California all week so we decided to have some family time this morning and head downtown to Falls Park. It is a gorgeous day and we had a great time enjoying the waterfalls and then sat outside to have some lunch. Ethan is getting so much easier to take places these days, he just kicked back in his stroller while we ate lunch. It's so nice he's getting old enough to do some fun things again!
Notice Mackenzie's new hair cut!! It's a little shorter than I thought it would be but it's grown on me and now I love it. Best of all I am not forcing her hair up into pony tails and she doesn't have a fit when I comb her hair out!

The Big Day

Ethan was Baptized the day before Easter. It was a really special day with lots of family. Matt's parents came from Minnesota, Dustin came home from where he's been working in New York and my Dad flew in from Houston. The service itself was crazy, there were ELEVEN babies!! It was also a little nuts that the service was at 4:30 in the afternoon which is the crankiest time of day for my little guy. Not only did he cry when he was Baptized but he screamed pretty much the entire service! Since he won't take a paci or a bottle I was pretty much left to just look at everyone like "oops, sorry my kid is screaming!". Afterwards we all went back to our house to have a yummy dinner and spend some time celebrating!

When Matt's out of town the bed time routine is a little easier when Ethan gets in the bed with Mackenzie for prayers and night time books. He's usually happy as a clam when he can be next to his Sister.

Ethan has started eating his cereal! He quickly moved from rice cereal to oatmeal and had his first squash yesterday. I was hoping solids might make him sleep better but no such luck...
