Mackenzie's First School Performance

Tonight Mackenzie had her first school performance. It was a "fiesta dinner night" to raise money for the March of Dimes. There were lots of kids crying because they didn't want to go on stage but Mackenzie was excited and couldn't wait to get up there. Once she was up there though she got a little bit distracted checking out all the people in the audience. The kids performed 3 songs, she didn't sing much at all on this one but it was the best video we could get from where we were sitting. They sang Rock a Bye Baby, Jesus Loves the Little Children and Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star. On the way home I asked her if she liked being on stage and she said a big YES! She also continued to sing those 3 songs until she was ready for bed time :)

Park Day

We had a great time at the park yesterday. The weather was beautiful and we had a fun picnic. The girls had a blast on the playground and by the time they rode their bikes after lunch they were both pretty tired and ready to go home. Grandad even came out for a little bit while Nana was at home in bed with a cold.

Playing Dress Up

These silly girls had so much fun playing dress up at Heather and Dustin's house last night. Dressed for game day they found wings, glasses and other accessories to complete their fashionable look :)

First Friday

Yesterday was the First Friday parade in Clemson. This parade happens every year the Friday before the first home football game. Matt and I jumped in the car with Mackenzie to check out the fun. Since I'm probably not going to make it to a lot of games this year we thought we better get in the Clemson spirit while we can! Mackenzie had such a great time and loved seeing Tiger, the cheerleaders and especially loved the band! Go Tigers!!!
