Fun Times

This week Matt is out of town and my sister Heather, my niece Sophie and my Mom are here to keep Mackenzie and I company. I took a couple of videos today so Matt and Mackenzie's Uncle Dustin could see the kids and how much fun they are. Mackenzie had a blast tonight when her Aunt Heather was feeding her, this video doesn't even hardly show how much she was laughing. She also had so much fun playing with cousin. Sophie loves playing peep eye with "baby".

A day in video

This blog post is for all of Mackenzie's Grandparents. I took some video today so they could see first hand what she is up to. There are three videos on this post. You can see her walking, dancing and there is one where she is attacking the camera (a common occurence when she sees us with the video camera). Enjoy!

Goof Ball

When crankiness sets in sometimes all Mackenzie needs is a bowl and a spoon to improve her mood. This afternoon she played with some things from the kitchen and had a great time. What a goof ball!

What is that falling from the sky?

On Saturday it snowed in Auburn! We know it must be hard to believe for all of our family in the North Country. When it started coming down, Mackenzie crawled to the front door and stood there looking out as if she was wondering "What is that falling from the sky?" Matt and I wanted to take her out and let her see it first hand, but we waited a little bit too long and it started raining and all the snow was gone! Hopefully it won't take another 6 years for it to snow here so she can see it again, otherwise, she'll have to see the real thing in Minnesota.

Welcome to the world Max!

Today we were able to meet the new addition to the Trimble family. Max is so little and sweet and it was so fun to hold a little baby again. It seems like so long ago since Mackenzie was that small. Time flies when you're having fun! Congratulations Rob and Amy!

Baby Friends

Stirling and Thomas came over today for a play date. They are all so cute together and seem to have such fun playing. They had a great time, no one even got cranky! I did have to pull Mackenzie off of Thomas one time though, she was either about to kiss him or bite his face, I'm not sure which :)

Daddy Time

Sometimes there is music and sometimes not but regardless I often find my sweet husband dancing with his daughter. It's one of his favorite things to do. I caught this moment tonight (good thing I have been keeping the camera so handy)! I am not sure he would have let me take this one if he knew what I was up to. He did let me take a few more pics after that though as they were playing. Mackenzie was so glad her Daddy was home from work to play with her. They are so happy together, it pulls my heartstrings. What a lucky girl she is to have such a loving Dad!

She Ran Out of Road!

Mackenzie spent a good part of her day practicing walking with her walker in the living room. Samantha and I spent a good part of the day walking with her and turning her around since she was constantly "running out of road". I wonder how long it will be until she can do this by herself....??

A Day in Pictures!

Matt and I had the camera ready and got several shots of Mackenzie throughout the day. Today was the first day that she ate her entire lunch (or any meal) that was entirely solids! This is big for her because she has been pretty attached to pureed baby food so having an entire meal of pasta, green beans and blueberries was historic! Today she also got to use her new big girl tooth brush. Another tooth broke through today so we figured we better start cleaning those choppers a little bit better than we have been. She also went for a walk today but it was a little bit chilly so I had her pretty bundled up. She was trying to figure out what in the world was on her hands and why she couldn't either take them off or eat them!

Neighborhood Walk

Ali and Stirling came by today and we went for an afternoon walk around the neighborhood. Mackenzie is always so excited to see her friend and you could tell she really wished they could get out of the strollers so they could play!
